With Time to Talk day coming up this month we thought it was important for employers to take this opportunity to think about employee’s mental health. We have added some resource links below to help you communicate the day and also open lines of communication with employees to let them know you are there for them if they need to discuss anything.
Ideas to encourage employee well-being:
- Send staff a ‘time-out’ bar of chocolate and a tea bag with a note suggesting they should take some time for themselves.
- If you have an EAP scheme for your employees, why not highlight this in February.
- Start to include time in your 1:1’s to ensure your employees are ok and give the time for them to discuss any concerns they have.
- Put up posters in predominant places of your workplace TtC Workplace Activity Pack 2020.pdf (time-to-change.org.uk)
